Need for Speed Shift

7/10 stars: Pretty good. Not so confusing, and actually has a bit of a point.
Review: This is one of my favorite racing games in the App Store. Need for Speed Shift by Electronic Arts delivers an enjoyable racing experience with simple controls. You turn by simply turning your device, and brake by touching the screen. You can also buy nitro for your car to use as a boost, as shown in the picture above. Drift, draft, brake, and skid as you race through Chicago, London, Tokyo, and then the legendary World Tour. However, when I got this game, it was on sale for 1 dollar. Now at 7, I don't know if I would buy it again. I would say probably not. 7 dollars is a lot to pay for an iPod Touch/iPhone game. However, if you ever find it one sale, leap at the oppurtunity.

- Good accelerometer accuracy for turning
- Lots of customization options for your car
- Ability to pay $1 for a set of cars
- Inability to drive backwards or turn around and go the wrong way
- Easy to unlock London/Tokyo
- No free roam
